Harrie Leenders is a top brand when there is a mention of stoves. They claim to have found a solution to the complex process of controlling fire; simplicity. Their claim is evident in their beautiful designs that aspire from this statement; they focus primarily on their aim to control fire and design as simple and aesthetically pleasing as possible. Having been in service for 25 years, the high and efficient standard of workmanship is displayed in its functioning; complete combustibility and efficient control.

The latest addition to the Harrie Leenders variety of masterful perfection is the new Harrie Leenders Fuga EL in White. It is a petite looking, elegant model of the Fuga series in the stove collection. A very modern, minimalistic design, it can be gauged as part of the furniture that lies within a room. It accentuates and enhances its surroundings while fully performing its function. It is a classic blend of the traditional looking fireplace and a new age, more practical stove. It’s clear and subdued design allows the fire to be seen burning through the curved window.

It’s a well-known fact amongst our second and third generation customers that we’re a third generation family business. Bonk & Co was established by William Dolby (nicknamed ‘Billy Bonk’)….who was joined by his son, Andrew…who was joined by his son, Alex. But that’s not all - since the day Bonk & Co first opened its doors, other members of the Dolby family and their friends joined the business and helped it grow from strength to strength. Our customers come to us for our specialist wood burning and multi-fuel stoves knowledge…developed over decades!

Our stove knowledge and expertise just got better

We’re delighted to announce the arrival of two new ‘family’ members, Dougie Prentice and Peter Aitchison. Dougie, a cousin, is based in the Inverness showroom (alongside his mum, Anna!) and Pete is a long-time friend of the family, having attended school with Alex. He is based in the Edinburgh showroom.

If you’re considering investing in a wood burning or multi-fuel stove, it’s vital to source a reputable retailer with thorough product knowledge and one that understands the intricacies involved in supplying and fitting a stove. HETAS (Heating Equipment Testing and Approval Scheme) is a government organisation set up to promote excellent standards and good practice in the industry. We’re delighted to announce that Bonk & Co is now officially a HETAS Approved Retailer and has completed all training programmes.

What does this mean when you’re buying a stove?

In a nutshell, buying from a HETAS Approved Retailer will provide you with the confidence and reassurance you need. So look out for the logo! In fact, there’s a reason why there are three ticks in the HETAS logo – each tick represents a benefit to you.
